  		Lumpkin-Cobb-Gerdine Monument On each side of the monument, members of the Lumpkin, Cobb, and Gerdine families buried there are listed. Since there are no separate gravestones, it is believed that there is an underground vault that holds the remains. It would have been opened for each burial and then reclosed.
